London Modern Quilt Guild March Meeting

By March 6, 2017London MQG

Just a quick post about London Modern Quilt Guild March Meeting that happened yesterday at the usual place The Star Tavern in Belgravia.

Quite a few people couldn’t make it to the meeting this time unfortunately but nevertheless we had a nice and warm one.

Here are two collages from Show & Tell.

Really great works from talented ladies:

I finished my mini quilt with cats in February, Kitten Around Block pattern is by Michael Ann and presented it at Show& Tell. This is one of my finishes from Finish-A-Long Quarter 1.

Still need to finish 2 more quilts by the end of March. Click here if you want to know which quilts they are.

Kitten Around Block – This is finish #2 from my Q1 FAL list

Second make I showed was my new corduroy bag that I’m completely and utterly in love with. Finished it a few days ago.
Amazing bear pattern is by Jo @unicornharts. You can view more patterns and purchase them by clicking here.

I really liked how the FPP bear turned up and I remembered that I had a piece of burgundy fabric in my stash and that it would be wonderful to put this mini FPP quilt on a corduroy tote bag and to carry my quilt art with me 🙂 So I did it! This tote is also fully lined and has pockets made from the same fabric as the bear itself.

And this is me rocking the bear tote

That’s it this time.

Thanks for reading.

Love & Light.
