Milky Way Sampler – 6 blocks and half way through

I am going to repeat everything I said in my previous post about Milky Way Sampler with the addition of two new blocks of course 🙂

In January I joined Alyce Blossom Heart Quilts at Milky Way Sampler Quilt Along. A free block is available to download once a month or the whole pattern can be purchased at once. I chose to download one star per month so I am not tempted to complete it all in one go and I’m also able to have fun together with other participants of this QAL and keep checking their progress on Instagram.

This is how the whole pattern looks:

June is nearly over, so those who are like me making one block a month are half way through this sew/quilt along.

Here are my two blocks from May and June:

Six blocks together

All blocks are made with Alison Glass fabrics from 76 collection. These blocks are very easy to make so I try to complicate them with fussy cutting and 76 fabrics are perfect for it!

There is a block 13 as well (you can see it in the middle of the first picture in this blog post). Would be great to get hold of this one too if Alyce Blossom Heart Quilts makes it available for a free download by the end of the year. Although I don’t mind buying it 🙂
